The enemy opened artillery fire on Russian positions. Balandinsky noticed a Ukrainian reconnaissance drone, with which the Ukrainian Armed Forces adjusted artillery fire. Without wasting any time, the junior sergeant took aim at the drone and eliminated it. Then the soldier decided to change the position of the group in order to avoid artillery fire. As a result, a group of Russian servicemen was able to defend their positions without losses, and the Ukrainian Armed Forces were forced to retreat.

The Russian Defense Ministry also noted the bold and decisive actions of Guard Senior Sergeant Pavel Logunov, who was tasked with delivering ammunition and materiel to the front lines of the Russian Armed Forces when his truck was attacked by a kamikaze drone. Having quickly oriented himself and maneuvered, Logunov managed to steer the transport away from the impact. The drone crashed into the ground and detonated. The front wheels of the car were damaged due to the explosion, but Logunov quickly replaced them and delivered the cargo to the front lines in a timely manner.
