- A resident of Haifa spoke about the situation in the city against the background of the Iranian missile attack

The city of Haifa in Israel was not affected by the Iranian missile attack despite the declared air alert. Yuri Bocharov, a local resident, told about this on June 13.
"We are quiet now, although an air alert was announced about 15 minutes ago. Rather, it was announced that it was over, it was said that it was possible to leave the shelters, but it was advisable not to stray far from them," he told Izvestia.
An eyewitness noted that the danger signal sounded throughout the country, but only Tel Aviv was attacked.
"There was a cloudless sky over Israel all day. I hope it will last so long," concluded Yuri.
On the same day, Israel launched a preemptive strike against Iran and declared a state of emergency. In this regard, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the purpose of the military operation is to strike at Iran's nuclear infrastructure.
Later, Iranian President Masoud Peseshkian stressed that Israel would receive an "appropriate response" for the strikes, which violate international rules. The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, in his address to the people, said that the Iranian army would use all force to respond to Israeli attacks.
