Iran has closed its airspace amid retaliatory strikes against Israel


Iran closed its airspace until 14:00 (local time, 13:30 Moscow time) on June 14 amid retaliatory rocket attacks on Israel. On Friday, June 13, Mehdi Ramezani, a representative of the Public relations department of the Civil Aviation Organization of the Islamic Republic, informed about this.
On the same day, Israel launched a preemptive strike against Iran and declared a state of emergency. In this regard, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the purpose of the military operation is to strike at Iran's nuclear infrastructure.
Later it became known that Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv had suspended operations. Jordan also closed its airspace after Iran, Iraq and Israel.
