Israeli Defense Minister says Iran has crossed all permissible borders
Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz said on June 13 that Iran had "crossed all red lines" by launching a retaliatory missile attack on Israel.
"Iran crossed all red lines when it dared to fire rockets at populated areas of Israel," the defense minister said.
On the same day, Israel launched a preemptive strike against Iran and declared a state of emergency. In this regard, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the purpose of the military operation is to strike at Iran's nuclear infrastructure.
Later, Iranian President Masoud Peseshkian stressed that Israel would receive an "appropriate response" for the strikes, which violate international rules. After that, it became known that the Iranian side had fired about 150-200 rockets at Israeli areas.
