US President Donald Trump is not concerned about the possibility of a regional war following Israel's attack on Iran. This was reported on June 13 by Reuters.

"He (Trump. — Ed.) stated that he was not concerned about the possibility of a regional war as a result of Israeli strikes," the agency's material says.

Trump also said it was unclear whether Iran still had a working nuclear program after the Israeli strikes.

Israel launched a preemptive strike on Iran and declared a state of emergency across the country earlier in the day. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the purpose of the military operation is to attack Iran's nuclear infrastructure, as well as ballistic missile factories. He called the beginning of the operation a success.

According to the Fars news agency, at least 78 people were killed and 329 injured in Israeli strikes on residential areas of Tehran.

The Russian Foreign Ministry condemned Israel's unprovoked attack and pointed out that the state violated the UN Charter by its move. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov also noted that Russia is concerned and condemns the sharp escalation of tension between Israel and Iran.
