Investigators have opened a criminal case into an accident involving a bus and a truck in the Moscow region. This was reported in the press service of the Investigative Committee of Russia (IC RF) in the Moscow region on Friday, June 13.

"Upon the provision of services that do not meet the requirements for the safety of life and health of passengers, an investigator from the territorial investigation department of the GSU of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Moscow region has initiated a criminal case (Part 1 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation)," follows from a publication in the Telegram channel.

At the moment, the number of victims and the circumstances of the incident are being clarified.

Earlier in the day, an accident was reported in the Moscow region involving a regular bus and a truck, according to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the region, seven people were injured. The incident occurred on the 45th kilometer of the M-2 "Crimea" highway.
