The IAEA Director General added that alpha particle contamination inside a nuclear facility can be controlled using appropriate protective measures.

The Jewish State has attacked at least 60 locations in eight provinces of the Islamic Republic from the air.

Israel launched a preemptive strike on Iran and declared a state of emergency across the country earlier in the day. The Russian Foreign Ministry condemned Israel's unprovoked attack and pointed out that the state violated the UN Charter by its move. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov also noted that Russia is concerned and condemns the sharp escalation of tension between Israel and Iran.
