Red Wings Airline has cancelled all flights to Israel up to and including June 16. This was announced on Friday, June 13, by the company's press service.

"Currently, the airline has cancelled flights up to and including June 16. Passengers of cancelled flights can make a forced refund — the airline will fully compensate for the cost of tickets," follows from the message in the Telegram channel.

It is specified that the changes will remain in effect until full security in the airspace is restored.

Earlier, the Russian Union of Travel Industry (PCT) reported that up to 500 organized tourists from Russia may be in Israel at the moment. According to the organization's press service, there are no more than 100 Russian citizens in the Iranian capital Tehran.

On the same day, the Israeli army launched a preemptive strike against the Islamic Republic, and the government declared a state of emergency in the country. Attacks were carried out, in particular, on Tehran, killing eight people and injuring 12 others.
