Debris from the strikes between Israel and Iran fell to the ground in the countryside of the Syrian province of Deraa. This was reported by the Sana news agency on June 13.

It is clarified that the debris presumably belongs to either an empty fuel tank of an Israeli fighter jet or a fragment of an Iranian missile.

As a result of the fall, no material damage or casualties were recorded among the population.

Israel launched a preemptive strike on Iran and declared a state of emergency across the country earlier in the day. At least five people died as a result of the incident. In addition, five more people were later killed and 12 injured due to Israeli strikes on the city of Tabriz.

UN Secretary—General Antonio Guterres, in turn, expressed concern about Israel's actions and recalled the obligation of the organization's member states to act in accordance with the Charter and international law. The Russian Foreign Ministry said that Russia strongly condemns Israel's military action against Iran, committed in violation of the UN Charter.
