- Iran has imposed restrictions on Internet access in connection with the Israeli attack

The Iranian authorities have imposed temporary restrictions on Internet access in connection with Israeli strikes on targets in the country. This was announced on June 13 by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of the Republic.
"Due to the special situation in the country and in accordance with the decisions of the competent authorities, restrictions on access to the Internet have been temporarily imposed," the Fars news agency said in a statement on its page on the social network X (ex. Twitter).
The ministry noted that the restrictions will be lifted with the "return to normal life."
Israel launched a preemptive strike on Iran and declared a state of emergency across the country earlier in the day. Later, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the purpose of Israel's military operation was to attack Iran's nuclear infrastructure, as well as ballistic missile factories.
The Russian Foreign Ministry condemned Israel's unprovoked attack and pointed out that the state violated the UN Charter with its move.
