- The Russian Embassy in the UAE spoke about the situation with flights between the two countries.

The Russian Embassy in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is following the situation around flights of Russian and Emirati companies to Moscow. This was reported on June 13 in the Telegram channel of the department.
"The Embassy is closely monitoring the situation with the cancellation or postponement of a number of flights of Russian and Emirati companies from Zayed International Airport (Abu Dhabi city) to Moscow due to the closure of the airspace of Iran, Israel and other countries in the region," the statement said.
It is specified that the diplomatic mission keeps in touch with representatives of the airlines.
Israel launched a preemptive strike on Iran and declared a state of emergency across the country earlier in the day. At least five people died as a result of the incident. In addition, five more people were killed and 12 injured due to Israeli strikes on the city of Tabriz.
UN Secretary—General Antonio Guterres, in turn, expressed concern about Israel's actions and recalled the obligation of UN Member states to act in accordance with the UN Charter and international law. The Russian Foreign Ministry said that Russia strongly condemns Israel's military action against Iran, committed in violation of the UN Charter.
