Summary of the special operation in Ukraine for the week

A special military operation to protect the civilian population of Donbass has been conducted by Russia since February 24, 2022. It is noted that the Russian Armed Forces carried out massive and seven group strikes with precision weapons and unmanned aerial vehicles. As a result, enterprises of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine, the infrastructure of military airfields, radar stations, production workshops, storage and launch sites for unmanned aerial vehicles, and arsenals of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were affected.

"The purpose of the strikes has been achieved. All designated targets have been hit," the Defense Ministry said.

In addition, during the week, the Neptune long-range guided missile, 18 JDAM guided aerial bombs and nine HIMARS multiple rocket launchers were shot down by air defense systems.

"The forces of the Black Sea Fleet destroyed six unmanned boats during the week," the Defense Ministry added.

Since the beginning of the special military operation, 663 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 63,395 unmanned aerial vehicles, 611 anti-aircraft missile systems, 23,884 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,572 multiple rocket launchers, 26,142 field artillery and mortars, 36,804 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed.
