The Federation Council pointed to the responsibility of the United States for the conflict between Israel and Iran

The United States bears a share of responsibility for the conflict between Israel and Iran, and the agreement on the Iranian nuclear program was destroyed by their hands. This was announced on June 13 on the Rossiya-24 TV channel by Konstantin Kosachev, Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council.

"From my point of view, the Americans still bear a very large share of responsibility for what is happening, primarily due to the fact that they destroyed a very serious, very long-lasting agreement on the Iranian nuclear program, which could definitely have prevented the current escalation," Kosachev said.

According to him, the United States has an increased responsibility to prevent the escalation of the conflict.
