Tehran has demanded that IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi condemn Israeli strikes on the Natanz nuclear facility. This was announced on June 13 by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi.
Israel launched a preemptive strike on Iran and declared a state of emergency across the country earlier in the day. At least five people died as a result of the incident. In addition, two more people were killed and six injured due to Israeli strikes on the city of Tabriz.
In turn, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the purpose of the military operation was to attack Iran's nuclear infrastructure.
