- The Federation Council announced Germany's attempts to avoid responsibility for supplying missiles to Kiev.

Germany's official refusal to supply Taurus cruise missiles to Ukraine may be an attempt to avoid responsibility. This was announced on June 13 by Alexei Pushkov, a member of the Constitutional Committee of the Federation Council.
He noted that Berlin's proposal to establish missile production on the territory of Ukraine instead of direct supplies faces certain difficulties.
"Given the difficulties in setting up such production, does Germany intend to "help" Kiev to issue German Taurus missiles to the Ukrainian missiles themselves in order to avoid responsibility for their supply," Pushkov wrote in his Telegram channel.
The parliamentarian added that Berlin may have taken Russia's warnings seriously and decided to reduce tensions in the discussion of this issue.
German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius arrived in Kiev on June 12 on an unannounced visit. After a joint press conference with President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky, he said that Germany was not considering the transfer of long-range cruise missiles Taurus to the Ukrainian side.
