Employees of the Center for Countering Extremism of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Irkutsk region detained a woman who posted a video on social networks in which she uttered defamatory words against the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and spoke negatively about Russia Day. This was announced on June 13 by the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the region.

"She turned out to be a 35-year-old resident of the city of Shelekhov, located in the Leninsky district of Irkutsk. It is known that the woman previously worked as a flight attendant, and also has a criminal record," the department's Telegram channel says.

According to the Interior Ministry, the defendant did not open the police door, citing a faulty lock, and behaved aggressively. As a result, rescuers had to open the door.

When taken to the police station, the woman also showed inappropriate behavior and tried to escape. She was taken to a neuropsychiatric clinic to be tested for intoxication or drug use. Currently, the suspect's actions are being assessed from a legal point of view.

On May 23, the Kuibyshevsky District Court of St. Petersburg fined 84-year-old blockade survivor Lyudmila Vasilyeva 10,000 rubles in a case of discrediting the army. It is specified that in February 2024, an elderly woman went out onto Nevsky Prospekt with a corresponding poster.
