Russians in Sharm el-Sheikh urged to be careful amid Israeli attacks

The Russian Embassy in Egypt on Friday, June 13, urged Russian tourists staying in Sharm el-Sheikh to exercise increased caution amid the escalation of the situation in the region due to the Israeli attack on Iran.

"Russian citizens residing in Sharm el-Sheikh and its surroundings. Due to the fact that the distance to the border with Israel is 190 km, and from some Egyptian settlements it is even less, we ask you to exercise increased caution," the embassy said in a statement on its Telegram channel.

The embassy urged tourists to follow the warnings of the Egyptian authorities about possible threats and follow their orders.

Those travelers who have not yet arrived in Sharm el-Sheikh were advised by the diplomatic mission to closely monitor the situation and assess the risks.
