At least five people were killed in Iran after Israeli strikes

As a result of Israeli military strikes on Iran, at least five people were killed. This was reported on June 13 by the Tasnim news agency.
"As a result of the strike, Major General Hossein Salami, commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), and two major atomic scientists, Mohammad Mahdi Tehranchi and Fereydun Abbasi, were killed," the publication says.
In addition, the deaths of Major General Gholam-Ali Rashid and his son have been confirmed.
Israel launched a preemptive strike on Iran and declared a state of emergency across the country earlier in the day.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the purpose of the military operation is to attack Iran's nuclear infrastructure, as well as ballistic missile factories.
