Netanyahu convenes security cabinet amid information about strikes on Iran

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Friday, June 13, convened the security cabinet, amid the start of a military operation against Iran.

"Netanyahu convenes his security cabinet while Israel launches airstrikes against Iran," The Times of Israel said.

US President Donald Trump is also holding a cabinet meeting. According to CNN, citing sources, they are discussing an Israeli attack on Iran.

On June 11, CBS News reported that Israel was fully prepared to launch an operation in Iran. The United States expects Iran to retaliate against some American facilities in Iraq, the media said.
