SVO fighters performed at a concert on Red Square in honor of Russia Day

In Moscow, a concert was held on Red Square on the occasion of the celebration of Russia Day. The most famous Russian artists and bands gathered on one stage — tens of thousands of spectators sang along to their favorite performers. And the main surprise was the performance of the participants of the special military operation (SVO).

"When such a large number of viewers sing along to your favorite song, of course, it gives you goosebumps. Several thousand people here on Red Square are congratulating Russia on the holiday," Izvestia correspondent Sergey Khaidarov said about the unique atmosphere of the holiday.

It is impossible to imagine Russia Day without the performance of the Lube group. This year, the band has a busy program — artists are in a hurry to congratulate not only Muscovites, but also residents of other cities.

"I'm in a great mood, I'm on my way to the airport. I'm flying to Omsk, Russia Day is also there," said singer Alexander Rastorguev.

Compositions about the Motherland were played from the stage, which it is impossible not to sing along.

So, the concert program was attended by both masters of the Russian stage and young performers. SHAMAN (real name Yaroslav Dronov) performed the song "Straight to the Heart", with which he will represent Russia at the Intervision contest in 100 days.

"It is, of course, a great responsibility, but also a great joy, as now, on Russia Day, to perform this song in the very center of our vast Homeland, in Moscow on Red Square," SHAMAN shared.

However, the main surprise was the performance of the military. Those who defend their Homeland on the front line, the fighters of the 123 Regiment group, who participated in the fighting in the Donbas, took the stage.

"We are very glad that we are involved in such a large-scale celebration of Russia Day. And I, in particular, and our 123 Regiment group are very pleased that we have been invited to perform on our main stage," admitted a serviceman of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation with the call sign Lavr.
