The US has ruled out its involvement in any Israeli strikes on Iran.

The administration of US President Donald Trump has warned the Israeli government that the United States will not be directly involved in an attack on Iran. This was reported on Friday, June 13, by the Walla publication, citing sources.
"The United States fears that an Israeli attack will lead to an Iranian response against American forces in the region, and is trying to make it clear that this is solely an initiative of Israel," the article says.
Although Washington will not participate in bombing or direct military action, it is unclear whether it will also refrain from providing logistical assistance, the newspaper writes.
Earlier, on June 12, Trump said that an Israeli strike on Iran was not inevitable, but it was quite possible. The American leader also stressed that he considers it unacceptable for Iran to have nuclear weapons.
On June 11, CBS News reported that Israel was fully prepared to launch an operation in Iran. The United States expects Iran to retaliate against some American facilities in Iraq, the media said. On the same day, The New York Times clarified that Iran had already developed a retaliatory strike plan in case of a potential attack from Israel.
