Sailor Khabipov single-handedly confronted the sabotage and reconnaissance group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Sailor Ilsur Khabipov was on duty at an observation post when he noticed a sabotage and reconnaissance group (DRG) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), which was secretly moving in the direction of the Russian positions. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation on Friday, June 13, reported on the exploits of the Russian military committed in the area of the special military operation (SVO).

Khabipov contacted the command to warn of the enemy's approach, and then immediately opened fire on the DRG. The sailor single—handedly managed to force the Ukrainian Armed Forces to first fight in an open area, and then retreat altogether, abandoning the wounded.

The Russian Defense Ministry also noted the high professionalism, courage and bravery of Sergeant Vladislav Vorobyov, who commanded the flamethrower squad and carried out a combat mission to support Russian attack aircraft.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces used the five-storey building as a long-term fortified position. The enemy's firing point in front of the main entrance to the building prevented the approach of the Russian assault groups. Realizing that a functioning firing point could lead to losses among the stormtroopers, Vorobyov stealthily made his way to the building and unexpectedly opened fire from a flamethrower for the enemy. The enemy retreated and disappeared into a five-story building, but now the passage for the assault groups was free. In a short time, the Russian military managed to gain a foothold in the building.

Earlier, on June 12, the Russian Defense Ministry said that Corporal Alexander Panasenko provided communications between the artillery units of the Russian Armed Forces and the command near the front line. When Panasenko's unit moved to new positions, he noticed an APU drone approaching the Russian guns.
