In the Khabarovsk Territory, a fire broke out in the shaft of a gold mine. This was announced on June 12 by the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia of the Khabarovsk Territory in its Telegram channel.
"In the Mykolaiv district, in the village of Mnogovershinny, smoke broke out in a tunnel at a natural resource extraction plant," the report said.
According to the agency, 22 mine workers left, there were no casualties as a result of the fire.
Work is currently underway to eliminate the fire. 14 people and three units of special equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire.
Earlier in the day, a source from Izvestia reported a gold mine fire in Khabarovsk. According to his information, the fire was recorded in the 11th tunnel of JSC Mnogovershinnoye.
