A two-year-old child was killed in a truck accident in the Yaroslavl region.


A two-year-old girl was killed in a collision between a car and a truck near the village of Sloboda in the Danilovsky district of the Yaroslavl region. This was announced on June 12 by the press service of the State Traffic Inspectorate for the region in the Telegram channel.
"A female driver born in 1984, driving a Toyota Rav4, drove to the side of the road intended for oncoming traffic, where she collided with a Volvo truck driven by a man born in 1984, after which a Volvo car hit an apartment building," the department said.
In addition, the Toyota driver and his passenger, born in 2010, were injured.
"Traffic police officers and an investigative team are working at the scene of the accident, and all the circumstances of the incident are being clarified," the publication says.
Earlier in the day, two people were killed and six injured in a three-car accident in the Nizhny Novgorod region. The accident occurred on June 11 in the Pilninsky municipal district. The driver, a woman born in 2003, who does not have a special license to drive vehicles, was driving a Mercedes, which had a tire torn off in the process.
