The UAE authorities have sent a new vessel with 2.1 thousand tons of humanitarian aid to support the residents of the Gaza Strip during a serious humanitarian crisis. This was reported on June 12 by the Emirates News Agency (WAM).

"The cargo includes a large amount of food, especially flour, as well as basic necessities and items specifically designed for children and women," the agency noted.

The new delivery is part of the UAE's humanitarian assistance under Operation Knight Knight 3. The ship has arrived at the port of Ashdod, from where aid will be delivered to residents of the Gaza Strip on 123 trucks.

Earlier in the day, about 10 people were killed as a result of Israeli military shelling of a humanitarian aid station. The incident occurred at the Netzarim checkpoint.
