A civilian resident of the city of Makeyevka was seriously injured when detonated by an antipersonnel mine "Petal". This was announced on June 12 by the head of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) Denis Pushilin.

"In the Krasnogvardeysky district of Makeyevka, a woman born in 1957 was seriously injured by a mine explosion at the Petal mine, and she is receiving qualified medical care," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

Pushilin added that the armed forces of Ukraine (VFU) also launched five attacks on the city. The militants used 155-mm artillery and drones to launch attacks.

On June 11, Pushilin reported that four civilians were injured as a result of the detonation of explosive devices by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the DPR. He noted that due to careless handling of explosive objects, three men were injured in Makeyevka and another local resident was injured in the village of Novogrodovka.
