More than 70 thousand people attended a festive concert dedicated to Russia Day, which was held in Moscow. This was announced on June 12 by the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation Irina Volk.

"A festive concert dedicated to Russia Day was held in Moscow on Red Square the day before. It was visited by more than 70,000 Muscovites and guests of the capital," she wrote on her Telegram channel.

Volk added that police officers and other law enforcement agencies provided security at the event and prevented violations.

On June 10, Deputy Mayor of Moscow Natalia Sergunina said that the capital's cultural centers, libraries and museums, as well as the Moskino Film Park and VDNH, had prepared a rich event program for Russia Day. A number of events are organized within the framework of the main project of the warm season "Summer in Moscow". It will bring together over 400 venues in the capital.
