150 reenactors from 12 countries take part in the Times and Epochs Festival

The international historical festival "Times and Epochs" is taking place in Moscow from 11 to 15 June. This year's event brought together more than 2,100 participants, including 150 reenactors from 12 countries, including France, Belgium, Turkey, China and Japan. This was announced by the organizers.
The festival covers 10 historical periods — from Scythian antiquity to the 20th century. The main venues are located in city parks and are open daily from 11:00 to 21:00.
One of the key locations was the reconstruction of the era of the Napoleonic Wars in the Mitino Landscape Park. The event is attended by 13 foreign reenactors, including French collector and auctioneer Jean-Francois Remy-Neris, whose collection of Napoleonics has been exhibited in museums in France, Japan and China. The program also includes theatrical reenactments with the participation of Belgian director Jerome Eric Ous and a performance by Belgian opera singer Tiffany Delguste.
The Moskino Film Park presents a reconstruction of the Russian-Polish War of 1654-1667. Among the 53 foreign participants are Turkish musician and specialist in Ottoman music Irfan Gyurdal, as well as shadow theater master Cengiz Samsun, who holds the official title of bearer of Turkey's intangible cultural heritage.
The era of Yaroslav the Wise's reign has been recreated in the Luzhkov Park. Pierre Leonard, a Frenchman living in Bulgaria, the organizer of the international festival "New Beginning", who speaks nine languages, including Russian, is taking part here.
The festival demonstrates a high level of international interest in Russia's historical heritage and promotes cultural exchange.
