On Russia Day, Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting with participants of the Time of Heroes program in the Kremlin. On June 12, participants of the first and second streams of the project told Izvestia about their impressions and plans.

"I believe in my strength, I believe that I will be able to bring something new to the development of our state," Oleg Pivovarov, Hero of Russia, Knight of the Order of Courage, told Izvestia.

According to the military man, who was paralyzed after being injured, immediately after applying for the 2025 stream, he began to think about the tasks he would set for the development of the country.

A participant in the first stream of the program, Hero of Russia Nursultan Mussagaleev, in turn, shared with Izvestia that the project exceeded all his expectations.

"From the first days of training, I was delighted and delighted with the level that the organizers set <...>. Now I am simply delighted that I am a participant in such a large—scale and truly significant project for the country," Mussagaleev said.

According to him, the participants of the first stream, who started their studies in 2024, are currently undergoing a practical part, they are developing and implementing projects themselves.

Earlier in the day, Putin said that the participants of the Time of Heroes program confirm the high quality of the personnel of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. The President also stressed that the Time of Heroes program was created so that the present and future of Russia would be connected with the heroes of the country.
