US Secretary of State Mark Rubio's congratulations on Russia Day indicate that the current US administration stands for solving problems through negotiations with the Russian Federation. This was announced to journalist Pavel Zarubin on June 12 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
"This is very positive news. <... The current administration in Washington is completely different from the previous administration of [former US President Joe] Biden," Peskov said in an interview published on the journalist's Telegram channel.
