Putin spoke about the military man who started a family on his advice.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has announced that on June 12, Russia Day, he will meet with a serviceman who tied the knot on the advice of the head of state. Putin said this at a meeting with participants of the Time of Heroes program.

"I will be meeting with one of your comrades-in-arms. I asked him on the phone about six months ago.: "Are you married?" He says, "No." I say, "We should get married." Today I will meet with him, due to the fact that he fulfilled the order of the Supreme Commander—in-Chief and got married," Putin said.

In addition, he noted that he plans to congratulate the serviceman and his wife on Russia Day.

After Putin's story, one of the participants in the Time of Heroes program said that he was thinking about starting a family, so he decided to propose to his girlfriend after the first module of training.
