Footage of the aftermath of the plane crash in India has been released

Paramedics, fire brigades and law enforcement officers are working at the crash site of an Air India passenger plane that crashed into a residential area near the city of Ahmedabad in western India. Footage of the aftermath of the June 12 aviation disaster is reported by the Izvestia correspondent.

After the crash, the plane broke into fragments, which immediately caught fire. Smoke and fire are extinguished from fire hoses.

Rescuers find the bodies in the commotion. The video footage shows a fragment of how a resident injured during the crash was quickly loaded onto a mobile stretcher for delivery to the hospital by ambulance.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that a plane crash occurred near the Ahmedabad airport in India. There were 242 passengers on board, including two pilots and 10 flight attendants.. Later it became known that the airliner crashed into the building of a dormitory for doctors. The local police reported that, according to preliminary information, all those on board the plane were killed.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has expressed his deep condolences to the Indian leadership over the tragic consequences of the airliner crash. According to NDTV, the cause of the crash of an Air India flight en route from Ahmedabad to London could have been a collision with birds.
