Composer Alexander Zatsepin invited Putin to his 100th birthday in 2026


People's Artist of the Russian Federation, composer Alexander Zatsepin, during the award ceremony of the Hero of Labor Medal in the Kremlin, which was awarded to him by Russian President Vladimir Putin on June 12, invited the head of state to his upcoming 100th anniversary.
The composer expressed the hope that in 2026 he will be able to write several musical works that will be performed in his future theater. Its creation is still in the plans.
"Dear Vladimir Vladimirovich, I am very pleased to receive such a high award from your hands. I hope that next year I will write a number of works that the public will see in my future theater, which does not exist yet," said Zatsepin.
The master plans to celebrate his 100th birthday at a concert hall in the Kremlin Palace in March 2026.
On March 10, the legendary composer Zatsepin turned 99 years old. During his creative career, he created more than 300 songs and romances. Familiar melodies are heard in the films "Operation Y", "Diamond Hand", "Prisoner of the Caucasus", "12 Chairs". The author created music for the cartoons "The Mystery of the Third Planet", "Well, wait!", "Disheveled Sparrow". On March 3, Zatsepin was awarded the title Hero of Labor. Despite his age, the composer continues to write music.
