- Hero of Labor atomic scientist Dikov declared the impossibility of NATO to defeat Russia

Yuri Dikov, deputy scientific director of the Snezhinsky Nuclear Center, Hero of Labor, said that NATO countries would not be able to defeat Russia and would "break their teeth" on the country's nuclear shield. He announced this on June 12 at the ceremony of awarding gold medals "Hero of Labor of the Russian Federation" and badges of State Prize winners.
"Now the enemies are gathering in a pack again, hoping for easy prey. As it did not work for Napoleon, it did not work for Hitler, and it will not work for modern jackals from NATO," he said during the awarding of Heroes of Labor and state Awards of the Russian Federation.
Russian President Vladimir Putin, in turn, noted Dikov's contribution to science and strengthening the country's defense capability. The Head of State stressed that under the leadership of the physicist, many pieces of equipment had been developed that were of exceptional importance for ensuring Russia's security.
Dikov added that the Russian nuclear industry will continue to strengthen the country's defense capability and strengthen the nuclear shield.
On June 9, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the call by NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte to strengthen the alliance by 400% was an expression of aggression. Peskov noted that in recent years, the North Atlantic Alliance has been increasingly manifesting itself as an instrument of aggression and confrontation, rather than as a mechanism for maintaining stability and security in Europe.
