Putin exempted military personnel from the CIS from the migration requirements of students in the Russian Federation

Russian President Vladimir Putin has exempted military personnel from the CIS countries from migration requirements in Russia by the end of 2027. The relevant decree of the head of state was published on the official Internet portal of legal information on June 12.

According to the document, military personnel of the CIS countries studying in Russia and their families can temporarily stay in the country without fingerprint registration, photographing and medical examination until December 31, 2027.
