The countdown clock to the start of the Intervision was launched in Moscow

In Moscow, on Thursday, June 12, the countdown to the international music competition "Intervision" was launched on Manezhnaya Square.
There are 100 days left before the start of the song contest, which will be held on September 20 at the Live Arena in Moscow. Intervision will allow Russians to get to know the cultures of other countries, said Russian rap artist ST (real name — Alexander Stepanov).
"It's great that we can get to know other countries through their musical representatives. Music unites, the Intervision contest will only confirm this," Stepanov said.
The competition will also bring together countries with common values and guidelines, said Sergey Novikov, Head of the Presidential Office for Public Projects.
"Those countries where people miss such value-oriented cultural festivals, products, songs, films, we can unite these people within the framework of the Intervision competition," Novikov noted.
In addition, high-tech set designs and innovative visual effects will be used during the performances. This year, Russia will be represented at Intervision by the Honored Artist of Russia, author and performer SHAMAN (real name Yaroslav Dronov). According to him, Maxim Fadeev wrote the lyrics and music of the song "Straight to the heart."
"It is clear that the song itself has already been released on all music platforms <...>. It will remain unchanged, but what will be around this song is the image, the set design, the light, the sound, this whole scale, <...> nobody knows yet," said the performer.
On February 5, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov announced that the participating countries would be able to show their best musical traditions without censorship at Intervision. According to him, 20 countries have submitted applications to send their representatives to the competition jury.
