Putin fulfilled the dream of a nine-year-old boy who supports the military

Russian President Vladimir Putin has fulfilled the dream of a 9-year-old resident of Salsk, who supports soldiers in a special military operation, in the new issue of the Yunost Border project. The episode became available for viewing on Thursday, June 12.
The release of the documentary project "Youth Border" is dedicated to nine-year-old Maxim Osadchy from the Rostov region, who collects parcels for military personnel to the front, prepares trench candles and writes letters for participants in a special military operation.
"It started in 2022, and about a week later I went up to my mom and asked, "Mom, let's help, I understand how bad it is for people there. People are the same, everyone is the same, the heart, the blood vessels, I feel how much they were hurt," said the hero of the issue.
At the age of four, the boy was diagnosed with cancer, Hodgkin's lymphoma. At that time, the whole country was collecting money for medical care for the boy. Now the disease is in remission, and the child transfers part of his pension to the needs of the fighters in his area.
By tradition, the hero's cherished dream was fulfilled in the project — he was given a trip to Moscow, where he was given a personal tour of the museum and temple complex of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation (RF Armed Forces). Putin left a personal autograph on the banner with paintings of soldiers, which Osadchy considers his relic.
Anna Tsivileva, State Secretary, Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Chairman of the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation, conveyed a gift and wishes for a speedy recovery from the Supreme Commander Maxim.
It is specified that the Youth Border project tells about children who help their participants and their fellow countrymen who find themselves in a difficult life situation. It was created with the assistance of the Russian Movement of Children and Youth "Movement of the First".
Earlier in the day, Putin, in his congratulations on Russia Day, stressed that Russians are proud of the history of their Fatherland and the achievements of the people. In addition, he noted that their love for their Homeland helps them overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
