The Russian military, in order to increase pressure on the enemy in the battles for the Chas Yar of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), began to apply new developments. As the Izvestia correspondent said on June 12, fighters create some devices from improvised means.

Special equipment helps the military to stop enemy vehicles, shoot down drones, and storm targets even more effectively at night.

In the night hunt for Ukrainian drones, as well as during assaults, special devices are very important. The deputy commander for armament of the OSHO "Rus" volunteer corps of the South group of forces with the call sign Nyucha said that there was just nothing in his "armory".

"Thermal imaging scopes, night scopes that stormtroopers take with them on missions. The under-barrel grenade launcher is being completed so as not to attach it to the weapon. We are already preparing for the summer period, for the "green": we are painting machine guns to match the color of the terrain so that they are less noticeable," he listed his arsenal.

Dmitry Zimenkin, a military correspondent for Izvestia, clarified that the fighters of the Yug group are fighting in Chasyar itself and its surroundings. The day before, through their efforts, the Stupochki settlement was liberated there. In this direction, the enemy is throwing many of its reserves to the front line. However, Russian fighters are preventing the supply of shells and infantry in an inventive way: they litter the roads with cheap homemade hedgehogs, after which wheeled vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) He won't be able to get anywhere anymore.

"Stop, slow down the advance, we cook hedgehogs out of nails, throw it all from the birds into a place, stop and there they are already practicing arta or mortars. Or our birds fly in, make drops and destroy equipment," said a fighter from the OSHO Rus volunteer corps of the South group of forces with the call sign Mutterer.
