US Secretary of State Marco Rubio congratulated the Russians on Russia Day. This was announced on June 12 by the US State Department.

"On behalf of the American people, I would like to congratulate the Russian people on Russia Day," the message reads.

Rubio stressed that the United States is committed to constructive and mutually beneficial cooperation with Russia to achieve peace with Ukraine.
