Lukashenko congratulates Putin on Russia Day


On June 12, the President of Belarus congratulated his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on Russia Day.
"Belarus attaches the utmost importance to the development of allied relations and strategic partnership with Russia based on spiritual closeness and common historical destinies," reads the congratulatory message posted on the official website of the head of state.
The Belarusian leader also noted that Russia firmly defends national interests, acting as the leader of the movement for a new non-discriminatory world order and respect for state independence. Now, as throughout the country's history, Russians are rallying together to make their homeland even more sovereign and prosperous.
In addition, Lukashenko wished Putin good health, and peace and prosperity to all citizens of the Russian Federation.
Earlier, President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik congratulated Russians on Russia Day. In it, he also expressed deep respect and appreciation to the citizens of the country and the Russian leader.
