North Korea has stopped broadcasting loudspeakers on the border with South Korea

North Korea has stopped broadcasting propaganda loudspeakers on the border with the Republic of Korea. This was reported by the Yonhap news agency on June 12.
"On Thursday, not a single area was recorded where the North Korean military would transmit signals through loudspeakers," the South's joint chiefs of Staff said.
It is noted that the military is closely monitoring the situation. The last time speakers from the DPRK campaigned was on Wednesday evening, June 11.
It was clarified that earlier the head of South Korea ordered to stop similar propaganda against the DPRK in order to ease tensions on the border.
Earlier, on April 18, it was reported that South Korea conducted large-scale night exercises on the border with the DPRK. The exercises were conducted about 160 km northeast of Seoul in coastal Koson County. In total, about 300 military personnel took part in them.
