A UAV crew destroyed an observation post of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kherson region

In the Kherson region, on the right bank of the Dnieper River, a crew of attack unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the 49th Combined Arms Army destroyed an observation post of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced by the Russian Defense Ministry on Thursday, June 12.

"UAV crews of the 49th Combined Arms Army continue to destroy observation posts, temporary deployment points, equipment and manpower of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on a daily basis. UAV units repeatedly disrupted the enemy's rotation on the right bank of the Dnieper River," the ministry said in a statement.

First, the calculation of the UAV during aerial reconnaissance revealed a target in an abandoned house, as a result, it was decided to strike with an FPV drone. The Russian military quickly deployed the equipment and launched a drone equipped with a high-explosive shell.

The Russian Defense Ministry said that two operators are working during the combat mission. So, one of them is piloting a UAV, and his partner is watching the sky, ensuring the safety of his friend.

Thanks to the professionalism of the calculation, the target was destroyed.

"We are trying to find an opponent. If we don't find it, we find an installation station [with the aim] to hit it and destroy it so that the enemy would be without equipment for some time," said the senior crew member and UAV operator with the call sign Tourist.
