The Iraqi government has announced the security of the embassies in Baghdad.

The Iraqi government said it had not found any security problems in the country that would require the evacuation of staff from other countries' embassies in Baghdad. This was reported on June 11 by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) in its Telegram channel.
"All Arab and foreign diplomatic missions operating in Iraq enjoy the maximum possible opportunities for safe work, freedom of communication and efficiency," the statement said.
The statement was made in response to the intention to evacuate some employees of the US Embassy in Baghdad.
Earlier in the day, preparations were underway for the partial evacuation of the US Embassy in Iraq due to threats to regional security. At the same time, both American and Iraqi sources of the agency did not specify the specific reasons that influenced this decision.
