A man was killed in Yakutia when a car collided with a truck.

A man was killed in a collision between a car and a truck in the Neryungrinsky district of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). This was announced on June 12 by the regional State Traffic Inspectorate in its Telegram channel.

As indicated, the accident occurred at night on the federal highway A-360 Lena. The driver of the Honda Insight, born in 1987, drove into the oncoming lane, after which he collided with a truck.

"As a result of the incident, the driver of the foreign car died on the spot," the ministry said in a statement.

It is specified that employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia are working at the accident site.
