President of Republika Srpska Dodik congratulates Russians on Russia Day

President of Republika Srpska (an entity within Bosnia and Herzegovina, BiH) Milorad Dodik congratulated the Russians on Russia Day on June 12.

"I cordially congratulate you on June 12, Russia Day, a state holiday symbolizing the freedom, independence and unity of the Russian people," the message of greetings reads.

The leader of Republika Srpska expressed deep respect and appreciation to the citizens of Russia and President Vladimir Putin.

Earlier in the day, astronauts aboard the International Space Station (ISS) congratulated Russians on Russia Day.

On June 12, the whole country will celebrate an important holiday — Russia Day. It is dedicated to the adoption of the Declaration on State Sovereignty of the RSFSR in 1990 and symbolizes the birthday of the modern state. In 2025, the holiday falls on a Thursday, so Russians will have a three-day working week with long weekends.
