Flags and flag designs decorated Moscow on the eve of Russia Day. This was announced on Wednesday, June 11, by the Deputy Mayor of the capital for Housing and Communal Services and landscaping, Peter Biryukov.

According to him, the flags were decorated on the main Moscow bridges, including the Bolshoy Moskvoretsky Bridge, the Bolshoy Kamenny Bridge, the Novoarbatsky Bridge, the Bolshoy Ustinsky Bridge, and government publications, the Moscow City News Agency reports. In total, the specialists of the municipal economy complex installed about 2.3 thousand flags and flag structures.

In addition, a congratulatory video has been prepared, which will be broadcast on Thursday on the media facades of book houses on Novy Arbat, RT clarifies. Architectural and artistic lighting of buildings on the central streets of the capital will operate in the festive mode on Russia Day.
