Zakharova congratulated Russians on Russia Day

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova congratulated citizens on Russia Day on her Telegram channel.

"The celebrations on this day from Kamchatka to Kaliningrad will reflect all the diversity and unity of our great country," the message of greetings reads.

Zakharova has repeatedly stressed the magnitude of this holiday. A celebration program will be organized in large cities and small towns. This holiday will be celebrated by residents of the new subjects of the Russian Federation, as well as heroes of the special military operation (SVO).

She said that Russia Day will be celebrated abroad, whether it's diplomats and politicians or just "friends of the country."

The representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry expressed her warm attitude towards this holiday.

"It is with a sense of legitimate pride and joy that we celebrate Russia Day, a celebration of a sovereign, independent state with a great past and a vision for the future. <...> We will confidently overcome all the challenges and trials facing us, and we will inevitably achieve our goals," Zakharova concluded her congratulations.
