Sergey Shchetinin, deputy head of the Moscow City Rescue Service, warned about the dangers of swimming on wild beaches in places not equipped for this purpose.

In an interview with Radio 1 on Wednesday, June 11, the lifeguard stressed that the prohibition signs are installed on wild beaches for a reason: dangerous currents, driftwood, deep pits, thick algae or heavy bottom siltation can hide under the water.

"Even the most experienced swimmer can't always get out of natural traps, so you shouldn't risk your health for fun," Shchetinin emphasized.

According to him, in such places, among other things, the water quality often does not meet sanitary and hygienic standards. In this regard, only official beaches should be chosen: lifeguards are on duty there and the bottom has been examined.

Rescuers regularly patrol the shores of reservoirs with the onset of the bathing season. Swimmers are advised not to swim behind the buoys, monitor the marking of the water area, correctly assess their strength, and do not swim far from the shore. They also urge you not to dive into the water from piers, piers and boats in unfamiliar places. In addition, it is important to avoid swimming during strong winds or waves on the water. In addition, it is worth refraining from bathing after a heavy meal and if you feel unwell, especially for those who suffer from cardiovascular diseases.

Earlier on June 11, it was reported that the Suvorovsky pond in Losino-Petrovsky had been prepared for the bathing season. There is a rescue post with a boat and medical equipment, rescuers are on duty daily, a diving examination and cleaning of the bottom in the bathing area have been carried out. 360.ru .

On June 7, the capital's rescuers increased their patrols of the Moskva River and urban reservoirs. There are 25 search and rescue stations operating in Moscow, the Moscow City News Agency said.

On May 29, survival expert Eduard Khalilov spoke about the safety rules when staying near the water. He stressed that the main rule is not to abuse alcohol. Every time people who drink in nature, the threshold of vigilance decreases, the feeling of fear disappears.

On May 24, rescuers tightened security controls in Moscow's reservoirs. More than 70 rescuers provide security every day, and their number grows to 100 in the heat, the website writes. kp.ru .
