The program of the Times and Epochs Festival in Moskino Park has been announced

The largest historical festival "Times and Epochs", which is part of the "Summer in Moscow" program, continues in Moscow. One of the key venues of the event was the Moskino Film Park, where a large-scale historical reconstruction of three eras was launched at once. This was announced by the organizers.

The central theme of the venue was the victorious spring of 1945. The Victorious 45th project. Moscow Chronicles" recreates the atmosphere of the capital in the days of the end of the Great Patriotic War. Based on archival documents and eyewitness accounts, visitors are presented with a picture of Moscow's life during the transition period from war to peaceful life.

As part of the reconstruction, authentic images of the urban environment, military equipment and historical decorations were placed at the Moscow 40s location. About 300 reenactors are involved in the work, more than 10 pieces of equipment are presented, dozens of master classes and theatrical performances are held, including the reconstruction of a large-scale battle. Guests can take a young fighter course, participate in a military quest, visit a retro workshop, a recruitment center and a zone dedicated to the work of the militia in the post-war years. There is a post office that allows you to send a postcard in the style of the 1940s. The daily program includes mass exercises, mock filming of the film "The meeting place cannot be changed," dance classes, fashion shows and drill.

The second historical zone is dedicated to the 17th century. Military camps of the armies of Russia, the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth and the Ottoman Empire operate on the territory, craft workshops are held, field kitchens are organized. Key elements of the program include equestrian competitions, infantry review and reconstruction of the general battle.

The third location reflects the life of Russian settlers on the west coast of North America in the 19th century. Elements of the urban infrastructure of that time have been recreated: a school, a bank, a merchant shop, a cavalry camp, and the homes of the indigenous population.

The festival is open to the public from 11:00 to 21:00.
