In Russia, the average cost of building suburban housing has been estimated


The average cost of suburban housing construction in Russia is estimated at 12,976 rubles per 1 square meter, while the construction of a house takes an average of 16 months. Such data is provided in a study conducted by the Avito Services platform, which was reviewed by Izvestia.
According to the material, the average area of the built housing is 137 sq. m., and the cost of materials is 20 376 rubles per 1 sq. m.
The study showed significant differences in the costs of different types of home repairs. Major repairs last on average more than 14 months, cosmetic repairs — about nine months. The cost of work is 4664 and 2976 rubles per 1 sq. m. m, respectively. The cost of building materials is 9854 rubles per 1 square meter for major repairs and 4004 rubles for cosmetic repairs. At the same time, home owners on average purchase objects with an area of 86-101 square meters. m.
Also, about 30% of home owners prefer to carry out major repairs on their own, and the cost of materials in this case is significantly higher (11,867 rubles per 1 sq. m.). 43% of owners do cosmetic repairs entirely on their own, and another 46% involve specialists only to perform certain types of work. In major repairs, the proportion of those who fully entrust work to specialists is higher — 75%.
The services of designers and designers are used by 26% of owners who make major repairs, and 13% for cosmetic repairs. Roof repairs (54%) and facade finishing (51%) are the most in demand among external works. Fences, paving and drilling of wells are most often ordered for landscaping (76%), as well as landscaping services (40%).
Every third owner of a plot of land with a house builds a sauna or a sauna, especially among those who have purchased ready-to-move-in housing (46%). At the same time, two thirds use the services of contractors, the rest perform the work independently.
In March, Fyodor Vasiliev, an expert, founder and CEO of Glavsnab, told Izvestia that the construction of a turnkey private house in 2025 would cost Russians 40-55 thousand rubles per 1 square meter. This is an average indicator, since the price depends, among other things, on the region, the materials used, and the workload of construction crews. At the same time, it is most profitable to start construction in the off—season - in autumn or early spring, when the demand for contractors' services is lower and prices for materials are more favorable.
